Happy Canyon Road With Option of Figueroa Loop

Synopsis » Go Back

Santa Ynez Outdoors
Happy Canyon is one of many routes in the Santa Ynez Valley once used by Lance Armstrong and his teammates as part of their training for the arduous racing season that culminated with the Tour de France. Done by bicycle, this long and incredibly challenging climb is the ultimate training ride and an amazing way to build fitness, whether for a beginning rider struggling with the first few miles, or a seasoned pro preparing for the European racing season. Alternatively, for those less inclined to suffer in the saddle, this route makes a great scenic drive any time of year, but particularly during the wildflower season from late winter through summer.
